For our upcoming event, we're excited to announce a special guest: Paul Biggar, a renowned figure in the Arab tech community and a passionate advocate for Palestine. Paul, the founder of TechForPalestine and CEO of Darklang, has left a significant mark with his activism and contributions to the cause.
Following his impactful blog post, "I can't sleep," where he candidly expressed his dismay over Silicon Valley's response to the war in Gaza, Paul faced repercussions, including being ousted from the board of CircleCl, the tech unicorn he founded. Despite challenges, Paul remains steadfast in his commitment to advocating for Palestinian freedom. He recently founded TechForPalestine, a loose coalition of over 4,000 individuals dedicated to leveraging tech for positive change.
Join us for a fireside chat with Paul as we delve into his journey in Silicon Valley, from immigrant unicorn founder to vocal advocate for Palestine. In addition to learning about his experiences, we'll also introduce Tech for Palestine and offer a guided orientation and onboarding session. During this session, participants will explore our Discord community server, navigate various channels and projects, and discover opportunities to volunteer their skills in support of Palestine.
Don't miss this insightful discussion and the chance to be part of a community striving for positive impact.
